Job Description:
We are looking for careful and reliable Customer Order Picker/Packers to join our despatch team in the Brentford (TW8) area. We have multiple positions available for both day and night shifts or a mix of both.
Your job is to pack customer orders from our Despatch mailing room ready for delivery. This is a busy job, and the team has daily goals to pack a minimum of 150 orders with multiple items and a minimum of 200 orders with a single item each. You will be working with our handmade bakery products, making sure they are packed safely.
• Day Shift: Shifts will be 8 hours long, between 08:00 and 18:00.
• Night Shift: Shifts will be 8 hours long, between 23:00 and 07:00.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow a pick list to find and pick all items for each customer order.
• Use a scanner to scan each item before you pack it.
• Carefully pack our products into boxes so they are safe for delivery.
• Print and put the correct shipping label on each box.
• Work fast to meet our daily goals and deadlines.
• Keep your work area clean and safe, following all company rules.
What You'll Bring:
• Experience in a food company or similar job where you packed a high volume of customer orders.
• Attention to detail and a careful eye for your work.
• The ability to work well in a busy environment with daily goals.
• A reliable and professional attitude.
• The ability to stand and work on your feet for long periods of time.
• Be comfortable working in chilled, frozen, and ambient environments.
