Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we've encountered. As an Assistant Manager, you will be at the heart of our fulfillment engine. You will focus on four key areas: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.
• Operational Planning: Review work forecasts and determine daily productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
• Labor Management: Partner with other Assistant Managers to balance labor, ensuring an efficient shift while meeting all throughput goals.
• Safety & Compliance: Support all safety programs and compliance standards to ensure a secure work environment for all associates.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools to eliminate waste and increase speed.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor real-time metrics to ensure the 15-minute delivery promise is met consistently.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

You and your team of warehouse associates are responsible for getting B2B orders processed. You are responsible for ensuring that you have properly trained people and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs. You will lead by example, fostering a high-performance culture that thrives on speed and accuracy along with safety.

What you'll need:
• Direct Management Experience: Proven track record of managing employees and their performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Skills: Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (knowing how, when, and who to audit).
• Adaptability: Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.
• Resilience: Ability to thrive in a young, aggressive, and high-growth environment.

Additional Job Elements:
• Physical Stamina: Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Mobility: Walking and standing for extended periods; our facilities are large, and you will be on the move frequently.
• Accessibility: Able to access all areas of the building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely)

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
• Experience in a high-volume retail, e-commerce, or logistics environment.
